100,000 slaves – 80 years.

Some things you can look at photos of, and then some things you need to see in real life.

Every now and then, traveling gets epic.

It could be something small like finding the best vegan cheesecake ever, or it could be something big like hanging out at the PYRAMIDS !!!

I’ve sat on these photos for over 2 weeks while I tried to pen some words to sum-up the experience, but still I sit, wordless to anything of value, and only a few rolls of scratched negs to share.

So kick back and enjoy the the photos for now, but better still, get yourself there.

Camera:Lomo LCA
Film: Fuji Superia X-Tra 400
Location: Pyramids of Giza, Egypt. June 2010.
Photoshop: Scanning color-shift corrections.

Gallery Pt. 2 coming soon.

That’s a Hungarian name. Don’t let it deflate you, but maybe that’s why I appreciate your stuff. Similar thought patterns (on two different continents yet).

I like the picture of the sitting camel best. Man and beast friend, a huge beast at that.

I’ve been there, so much bigger than you think they’ll be.
Fascinating place and the area surrounding it also.
    Thanks for sharing.

Why would you eat vegan cheesecake when you can have the real thing!?

Is that camel wearing a crown?

My favorite is the one with the camel and pyramid. Your photographs are postcards.

It wasn’t slaves, it was aliens…or giants. Great pics, though.

Gorgeous photos…the color and moods of the sky in them is incredible, very inspiring shades of blue, very romantic. Let’s not under-rate finding great vegan cheesecake…a vegan speaking… 🙂 Peace…
